Submission information for already registered participants

If you have already submitted a contribution in 2020, please only use the following instructions for your resubmissions/new submisssions for the 2021 congress. In order to be considered for the conference, all existing contributions must be submitted according to the instructions described here. The general information on the submission of contributions still apply.

Submit a symposium

! Please note !

A symposium or an individual contribution within a symposium can only be edited by the person who originally submitted the contribution (usually the Chair). If you would like to change or replace an individual contribution, please contact the person that has submitted the symposium your contribution belongs to.

 

Step 1: Log into your existing account.

Step 2: In the section "Contributions" > "Submitted Sessions", click on the button "Action" and select "Edit" to edit your already existing poster/symposium.

You have 3 different options:

  1. You would like to resubmit your symposium from 2020 with no (or marginal) changes
  • After clicking "Edit", scroll to “Review” in the first section (Information) and activate the checkbox "The contribution has not changed significantly and does not need to be reviewed again”. Click on button "continue to responsibilities" at the bottom right of the page.
  • Click through the sections: 2. responsibilities, 3. contributions, 4. overview and check the existing informationabout chair and authors.
  • In Section 5 click on the button "Conclude and Submit Abstract" to resubmit your contribution

 

  1. You want to resubmit your symposium/individual contribution with significant changes
  • After clicking "Edit", you can make changes to your existing symposium (title, mantle abstract, language, topic area) in the first section (Information).
  • Scroll to "Review", activate the checkbox "The paper is new or substantially changed and needs to be re-reviewed" and click on "continue to responsibilities"
  • In the next Section you have the possibility to check or change the existing information about chair and authors.
  • To edit an individual contribution within a symposium, scroll to "session overview" in section 2 and choose "edit" for the corresponding contribution. You can now edit the abstract and title using the input screen. Click on "Save and continue to overview".
  • Finally, click the button "Conclude and submit abstract" in section 5 to submit your contribution.

 

  1. You would like to submit an entirely new symposium/ individual contributio

Important: Do NOT delete your already existing contribution in the session overview !!!

  • After clicking "Edit", you can delete the contents in the input screen of your existing symposium (title, mantle abstract, language, topic area) in the first section and replace them with new information.
  • Scroll to "Review", activate the checkbox "The contribution is new or significantly changed and must be reviewed again" and click on the button "continue to responsibilities".
  • In the next Section you have the possibility to check or change the existing information about chair and authors.
  • To replace an individual contribution within a symposium, scroll to "session overview" in section 2 and choose "edit" for the corresponding contribution. You can now replace the abstract and title using the input screen. Click on "Save and continue to overview".
  • Check and save your entries again in the area 4. overview.
  • Finally, click the button "Conclude and submit abstract" in section 5 to submit your contribution. 

How to submit a poster

Step 1: Log in to your existing account.

Step 2: In the "Contribution Submission" > "Submitted Sessions" section, click on the "Actions" button and select "Edit" to edit your existing poster/symposium.

You have 3 different options:

  1. You want to resubmit your 2020 poster with no (or marginal) changes
  • After clicking "Edit", scroll to “Review” in the first section (Information) and activate the checkbox "The contribution has not changed significantly and does not need to be revied again”. Click on button "continue" at the bottom right of the page.
  • Now click through the sections: 2. content, 3. authors, 4. overview and check the existing author information.
  • In section 5, click the "Finalize and Submit Abstract" button to resubmit your contribution.

 

  1. You want to resubmit your poster with significant changes
  • After clicking "Edit", you can make changes to the information (title, topic area, language) for your existing poster in section 1 (Information Area)
  • Scroll to "Review", activate the checkbox "The paper is new or substantially changed and needs to be re-reviewed" and click on "continue"
  • You can make changes to the title and abstract of your existing poster in the next section (2. Content)
  • Click through sections 3. Authors and 4. overview to check or change the existing author details
  • Finally, click the button "Conclude and submit abstract" in section 5 to submit your contribution.

 

  1. You want to submit an entirely new poster

Important: Do NOT delete your already existing contribution in the session overview !!!

  • After clicking "Edit", you can delete the information (title, topic area, language) for your existing poster and replace it with the information for your new contribution.
  • Scroll to "Review" in section 1, activate the checkbox "The paper is new or substantially changed and needs to be re-reviewed" and click on "continue"
  • You can now delete and replace the abstract and title of your submission using the input screen (section 2. Content)
  • Click through sections 3. Authors and 4. overview to check or change the existing author details
  • Finally, click the button "Conclude and submit abstract" in section 5 to submit your contribution.
